A new magnetically controlled prosthetic hand, tested by a participant with an amputated lower arm, enables precise hand motion and the ability to grasp fragile objects. China prepares for 1st launch of new Long March 8A rocket

China completed a rehearsal for its new Long March 8A rocket at the Hainan commercial space launch site. Set to launch in December, the rocket, developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT), is an improved version of the Long March 8 with increased payload capacity and mission adaptability. It will support large-scale satellite deployments, including China’s planned megaconstellations like the G60 and Guowang.
